Am frühen Morgen starten wir von Ihrem Hotel in der Nähe von Sigiriya. Besichtigung des Weltkulturerbes von Sigiriya, den 2500 Jahre alten Ruinen des Palastes von König Kasyapa oben auf dem Lions Rock. Mittagessen in einem typisch sri lankischen Restaurant, Zeit zum Ausruhen. Am frühen Nachmittag Aufstieg zum Pidurangala-Felsplateau auf einem etwas anspruchsvollen Wanderweg. Oben können Sie den atemberaubenden Blick über das Land und auf den Sigiriya-Felsen genießen. Abends Rückkehr zum Hotel.

Am Morgen fahren wir zu den Höhlentempeln von Dambulla, einem weiteren Weltkulturerbe, mehr als 2000 Jahre alt. Die Wände der verschiedenen Höhlen sind farbenfroh bemalt und es gibt zahlreiche Buddha-Statuen zu sehen.
Nach dem Mittagessen in einem Restaurant Ihrer Wahl besuchen Sie Nalanda Gedige, einenkleinen Tempel genau im geographischen Zentrum von Sri Lanka. Unterwegs machen wir Halt in Ibbankatuwa und besichtigen die megalithischen Grabstätten. Am Abend Rückfahrt zum Hotel.

The walls oft he different caves are beautifully painted and there are numerous buddha statues to be seen. After lunch in a restaurant at your choice, you will visit Nalanda Gedige, a small temple, situated exactly in the geographical centre of Sri Lanka. On the way you will take a look at the megalithic burial site of Ibbankatuwa. Return to your hotel in the evening.
