In the morning we go to Dambulla cave temple. This temple is renowned for its mural paintings and numerous buddha statues in several caves

Am Morgen fahren wir zum Höhlentempel von Dambulla. Dieser Tempel ist bekannt für seine Wandmalereien und zahlreichen Buddha-Statuen in mehreren Höhlen.
In the afternoon we will climb Sigiriya, the 2500 year old ruins of a fortress on top of the lions rock.
Am Nachmittag erklimmen wir Sigiriya, die 2500 Jahre alten Ruinen einer Festung auf dem Löwenfelsen.
3.day - Polonnaruwa
3. Tag - Polonnaruwa
Visit the ruins of the ancient city of Polonnaruwa and see the maybe most beautiful Buddha statues of Sri Lanka at Gal Vihara.

4. day - Anuradhapura

We will take all day to visit the sacred places of the ancient city and first capital of Sri Lanka, as for example the ruwanwelisaya and the thuparamaya stupa, the abhayagiri stupa, isurumuniya, the old monastery of mihintale and of course the sri maha bodhiya – the holy bodhi tree.
